Terms of use and code of conduct

DRAFT TO BE COMPLETED before the pilot: replace the parts in square brackets and have the text reviewed.

The service

NiceToMeetYou is a pilot project run by [CONTROLLER] that lets people organise and find themed calls on Google Meet. Calls take place on Google Meet: the platform does not record or see what happens during a call.

Who can take part

Only adults with a Google account and an invite code.

Code of conduct

• Respect all participants; no harassment, discrimination or offensive content.
• No unsolicited commercial activity, spam or harvesting of contacts.
• If you sign up, take part. If you can't, withdraw at least 2 hours before.
• Feedback must be honest. Trading ratings to inflate reputation leads to a ban.
• On Meet, the host admits only people who are signed up.

Reputation and sanctions

Reputation comes from confirmed attendance and from other participants' ratings. Two unexcused no-shows in 60 days suspend sign-ups for 14 days. Reports are reviewed by [CONTROLLER], who may suspend or close an account.
